SalesNOW is an extremely customizable application that allows you to modify the names of the main tabs and their associate records. For example, if you were in the mortgage business, you might want to rename the Deals tab to Mortgages. Making this change will also change the name of a deal to a mortgage. Therefore, you can add a new "Mortgage" record for a contact and later view your "Mortgages".
The tab names that can be changed by your SalesNOW Administrator are:
Contacts
Companies
Leads
Deals
Cases
Calls
Meetings
Tasks
To change the tab names, follow these steps:
Click Setup | Customize
In the Field Customization area, click [rename] next to the tab name that you would like to change.
Enter the new tab name. For example, if you wanted to change "Deals" to "Mortgages", type "Mortgage" in the singular label field and "Mortgages" in the plural label field.
Click Save to save your changes or Restore Default Settings to return to the default tab names..
Note: Once saved, these new tab names will immediately appear within all team users' SalesNOW Web Accounts and will appear within each team user's SalesNOW BlackBerry Account when they synchronize their web changes.
